Electrician (Automation)

Location: On-site at the Longford facility, Ireland

Salary: EUR 30,492–EUR 48,787 per year

What you will do

• Provide electrical and technical support for production processes to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment integration and automation projects that improve plant performance and process efficiency.
• Support electrical maintenance for general plant and facility systems.
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment.
• Use wiring diagrams and manufacturer procedures to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with FETAC Level 6 certification.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and manufacturer installation procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of or exposure to PLC programming, instrumentation, and air handling or air conditioning systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device manufacturing.
