Maintenance Technician (GMP Manufacturing)

Location: Waterford, Ireland. Full-time, 23-month fixed-term contract with a 25/5 shift pattern across three 8-hour cycles.

Salary: €41,600–€55,467 per year.

What you will do

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance across inspection, assembly, labelling, cartoning, and packaging production lines.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and production stoppages to minimize downtime and restore equipment availability.
• Execute scheduled maintenance activities and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Support changeovers, line clearances, equipment setup, and basic equipment-care training for production operators.
• Collaborate with Production, Automation, Quality, and Engineering & Maintenance teams to resolve line-performance issues.
• Identify root causes of recurring faults and contribute to Opex, Smart Factory, reliability, and OEE improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience working in a highly regulated GMP environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and execution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to work the specified 25/5 three-cycle, 8-hour shift pattern at the Waterford manufacturing site.
