Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center on Redstone Arsenal

Support hirify.global’s METTS III contract and NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center through manufacturing engineering and technical services.

What you will do

• Develop, improve, and support manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, and methods.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, reduce costs, and increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Determine failure root causes and recommend changes to designs, tolerances, and processing methods.
• Troubleshoot product, material, process, and manufacturing equipment issues.
• Review product designs for manufacturability and completeness.
• Train production personnel and coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Experience with manufacturing process improvement and process planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow MSFC and OSHA safety requirements, technical procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and flexibility to work outside normal hours when needed.
• Ability to work in machine shop, manufacturing, loud, and office environments.
