What you will do

• Own hardware execution from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle fluid, electrical, and structural subassemblies.
• Develop and release build flows, work instructions, and test procedures for repeatable, high-quality production.
• Support first-article builds and production ramp-up by improving manufacturability, process repeatability, and quality.
• Provide hands-on floor support during assembly and testing, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with design, supply chain, production, and test teams on part readiness, tooling, schedules, and handoffs.
• Help develop manufacturing systems and infrastructure, including tooling strategies, ERP/MES workflows, and production documentation standards.

Requirements

• Engineering or related technical degree and 2+ years of hands-on experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing or integration environment.
• Experience investigating hardware issues, resolving non-conformances, and driving root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Familiarity with assembly and test procedures, tolerance stack-up analysis, structural proof testing, and pressurized leak checks.
• Proficiency in GD&T, CAD, and basic design or test analysis.
• Experience in at least two of the following: LOX cleanliness, leak checking, sensor checkouts, tube bending, tool design, crane operations, or subassembly builds.
• Ability to collaborate across design, manufacturing, supply chain, test, technician, engineering, and vendor teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace product introduction or transitioning hardware from prototype to production in a high-rate or scaling environment.
• Experience authoring and executing test procedures or serving as a test conductor for integrated system verification.
• Familiarity with hazardous operations, fluid system safety, and pressurized or high-risk test environments.
• Experience in lean environments, vendor engagement, tool development, or leading a small team through an ambiguous build or test effort.
