Lead Engineer (SCADA)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office; applicants may work from a home office anywhere in the United States. Up to 10% domestic travel is required, with work at various locations throughout the United States.

Salary: USD $130,541.80–$145,541.80 per year.

What you will do

• Lead a technical workstream and support solution design in line with customer requirements.
• Develop project deliverables and participate in solution configuration, build, and testing.
• Own the workstream QA process and ensure thorough testing before system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Support proposals, bid clarifications, shortlist presentations, scope definition, and contract negotiations.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with scope management, project planning, milestones, and resource estimates.
• Coordinate with field crews and Control Center Operations to validate database and display accuracy.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field plus three years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant experience.
• Experience validating and troubleshooting databases for SCADA, FEP, ICCP, and network models.
• Experience using Python, PowerShell, and Java for automation, scripting, data integrity, and system performance.
• Experience with bulk display updates, regression testing, database teams, vendor relationships, and database conversion or migration projects.
• Experience developing BI reporting solutions with Power BI and Tableau.
