Sr. Procurement Specialist (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategies for assigned areas of spend at the site, regionally, and potentially globally.
• Lead sourcing activities, including proposals, recommendations, negotiations, supplier selection, contract awards, purchase orders, and contract releases.
• Manage supplier relationships and improve cost, safety, risk, reliability, service, and supplier performance.
• Support plant turnarounds, capital project planning, supplier qualification, and local and regional supply-base risk management.
• Optimize procure-to-pay processes, inventory levels, material availability, and compliance with procurement policies and applicable laws.
• Report procurement performance indicators and collaborate with stakeholders, manufacturing sites, suppliers, and plant leadership.

Requirements

• High school degree required; a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Six or more years of procurement experience, including supplier management, contract management, risk management, and procure-to-pay processes.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, bid development, contract development, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier management.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and procurement systems such as Coupa, Ariba, and SAP S4.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, influence stakeholders, and make complex decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 360 and Tableau.
