Specialist, Sourcing Category Manager - Business Applications

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies and perform category analytics for software technology and banking platforms.
• Lead RFx processes, including project management, proposal development, negotiations, and supplier awards.
• Review technology contracts, including NDAs, master agreements, and statements of work, and manage contract administration.
• Support third-party supplier due diligence, pricing negotiations, supplier rationalization, and demand management.
• Manage procurement compliance, regulatory requirements, performance metrics, and internal supplier reviews.
• Use Coupa and maintain the contract management system, while partnering with business stakeholders on technology sourcing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.
• Six or more years of experience in sourcing or procurement, including indirect categories such as IT.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement.
• Strong analytical, sourcing, negotiation, communication, time-management, and project-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with ERP systems or PeopleSoft.
• Ability to work in Chicago, IL.

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Professional procurement or supply chain designation such as CSCP or CPM.
