Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management

What you will do

• Develop and execute the foundry’s outsourcing strategy for operational goals, production requirements, and capacity needs.
• Identify and evaluate external partners for machining, maintenance, tooling, engineering services, temporary labor, environmental services, transportation, and capital projects.
• Manage supplier and contractor relationships, including SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, performance reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate outsourced maintenance, repair, reliability services, shutdown support, preventative maintenance, capital projects, and equipment installations.
• Lead contract negotiations, renewals, pricing discussions, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor spend management.
• Ensure suppliers and contractors meet safety, environmental, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations management, business administration, manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, plant operations, maintenance management, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing contractor relationships, outsourced services, and supplier performance.
• Experience negotiating complex service agreements and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, maintenance practices, capital projects, and supplier management.

Nice to have

• Experience in a foundry, metals manufacturing, heavy industrial, casting, forging, machining, or industrial production environment.
