Associate Construction Project Manager - Substations - Michels Power, Inc. (Substation Construction)

Location: Nationwide, United States; long-term onsite project assignments required

What you will do

• Support Project Managers in planning and managing substation construction projects under direct supervision.
• Track project costs, labor, budgets, schedules, performance metrics, productivity, and billing.
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, engineers, utilities, and other project stakeholders.
• Support material procurement, submittals, equipment tracking, subcontractor compliance, and project documentation.
• Assist with estimating, proposal preparation, quantity take-offs, agency reporting, change management, and project closeout.
• Provide onsite administrative and project support during long-term assignments while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–3 years of related experience; substation, electrical, or utility construction experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite project assignments nationwide.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn and develop.
