What you will do

• Provide academic leadership to faculty, staff, and students in the Department of Agricultural Sciences.
• Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and support the professional growth of faculty and staff.
• Oversee the fiscal and operational management of research and educational programs.
• Lead the development and implementation of undergraduate and graduate academic programs.
• Collaborate with agricultural industry leaders to address regional teaching, research, and service needs.
• Coordinate with executive leadership to secure resources for successful program execution.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in an agricultural discipline or closely related field from a university.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service.
• Experience managing federal, state, local, and grant accounting codes and funding structures.
• Ability to allocate resources efficiently and comply with fiscal guidelines.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration, strong interpersonal skills, vision, and relationship-building ability.
• Excellent computer, written, and oral communication skills; administrative experience is desired.
