TL;DR
Associate Director, Educational Outreach (Early Childhood Education): Coordinating grant-funded initiatives and statewide prekindergarten partnerships with an accent on grant compliance, stakeholder engagement, data collection, and continuous improvement. Focus on monitoring performance outcomes, facilitating training and technical assistance, and ensuring accurate early childhood data reporting across partner organizations.

Location: College Station, Texas, United States. The role requires statewide travel and occasional overnight stays for program operations, partnerships, training, meetings, and events. Restricted to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.

What you will do

  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with school districts, childcare providers, Education Service Centers, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate intermediary grant activities, deliverables, timelines, performance expectations, and compliance requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, monitor, and report early childhood program data to support evaluation and data-informed decisions.
  • Coordinate curriculum implementation, instructional support, coaching, professional development, and technical assistance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely student data submissions through the Early Childhood Data System and other reporting platforms.
  • Prepare reports and presentations, advise stakeholders, and represent educational initiatives at local, regional, and statewide events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eight years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cooperatively with internal and external partners.
  • U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residence is required; employment is subject to a criminal history investigation.

  • Leadership experience developing, implementing, and sustaining early childhood partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
