Crew Lead - Maintenance/Mechanical - Shreveport, LA (Gas Pipelines)

What you will do

• Lead mechanics in executing daily maintenance and mechanical work requirements.
• Plan and prioritize work with the Operations Supervisor, including resource plans, projects, outages, and emergency response activities.
• Develop and review safe work plans, shut-out plans, JSAs, site-specific procedures, project scopes, and shutdown or turnaround plans.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of compressors, pumps, turbines, engines, pipelines, valves, instrumentation, and other process equipment.
• Coordinate third-party construction and maintenance activities, including contractor sourcing, materials, and work execution.
• Maintain inventory, documentation, equipment history, and emergent work items using Maximo and other maintenance management systems.

Requirements

• GED with five to seven years of commensurate experience in compressor station mechanical operations, project management, and technical analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of oil and gas mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, piping, engines, and rotating equipment.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and leading maintenance activities in field and plant environments.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and OEM manuals; perform precision measurement, alignment, vibration checks, and mechanical inspections.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, mechanical integrity, CMMS tools, equipment isolation, and safe handling of pressurized systems.
• Ability to work outdoors in all environmental conditions, enter confined spaces, climb elevated platforms and ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Associate degree in a technical field or a four-year degree.
