Maintenance Tech 2 - 1st Shift

Salary: $35.29–$37.11 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, production equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair motors, drives, PLCs, controls, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, minimize downtime, and support production teams with timely troubleshooting.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain work orders, repair documentation, and accurate maintenance records.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, compliance, 5S, LOTO, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and drives.
• Ability to read technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., and work around noise, heat, and moving equipment.
