Senior Risk Control Consultant Field

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin, United States; field-based work with approximately 20%–50% of time onsite with customers and travel that may include long-distance, overnight, or multi-night trips.

Salary: $104,000–$171,700 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Evaluate complex risks across manufacturing, large warehouse operations, property, products liability, fleet, and multi-location businesses.
• Conduct field assessments and provide underwriting with detailed knowledge of hazards, controls, management practices, and account differentiation.
• Prepare technically detailed reports with clear risk assessments and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze losses and customer readiness, identify uncontrolled exposures, and influence corrective actions to mitigate potential losses.
• Partner with Underwriting, Claims, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers to select, retain, and grow profitable business.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in specialty areas and support higher-level projects affecting the Risk Control organization or hirify.global enterprise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, basic sciences, or a related technical field.
• Seven years of experience in safety, risk control or management, occupational or environmental health and safety, science, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or relevant military service.
• Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and strong business acumen.
• Recognized relevant certifications such as ASP, CSP, ARM, or CFPS.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain state-specific certifications where applicable.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, influencing, negotiation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
