Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; designated regional office and project-site travel throughout the United States. Hybrid arrangement with regular field and office presence; remote work may be possible one day per week with supervisor approval. Up to 30% overnight travel annually, with occasional last-minute travel for incidents, meetings, client requests, or OSHA visits.
Salary: $80,000–$119,000 per year.

What you will do
- Coach supervisors, project managers, crews, and employees on pre-task planning, hazard recognition, serious-risk decisions, and Stop Work/Start Work expectations.
- Support high-risk work planning by identifying critical hazards and verifying that required controls are in place before work begins.
- Conduct field engagements, observations, audits, PPE assessments, and training focused on critical risks such as driving, line-of-fire exposure, uncontrolled energy, and hazardous substances.
- Support incident and near-miss investigations, document relevant information, identify systemic corrective actions, and follow up on their implementation.
- Promote vehicle safety and journey planning, while ensuring regional activities and findings are accurately recorded for KPI reporting.
- Travel to offices and project sites, interact frequently with employees in varied field conditions, and complete additional assignments aligned with regional needs.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in occupational safety; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least four years of safety experience in construction or field services, with field coaching and audit experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926, serious-risk controls, and common hazards in technical services.
- Strong communication, documentation, pattern-analysis, relationship-building, and influencing skills without direct authority.
- CSP or another BCSP-recognized certification required, or obtainable within 12 months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record; proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile/field data systems.
