PT Production Stage Manager/Grip (Live Television)

What you will do

• Stage-manage daily newscasts, special events, creative services, sales, and client productions.
• Run live show staging, including production cues, set changes, props, furnishings, and talent positions.
• Coordinate with producers, directors, control-room staff, lighting teams, and studio crews on staging requirements.
• Prepare and maintain production studios and staging areas for live broadcasts and breaking news.
• Supervise set changes and maintain props, set elements, flooring, dressings, storage systems, and supplies.
• Maintain stage marks and a safe workspace, including fire aisles and trip-hazard reporting.

Requirements

• Three to five years of professional experience in live television stage management and grip.
• Prop and grip experience, with a strong fundamental understanding of video and audio production equipment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate stage personnel.
• Ability to make quick decisions and give accurate instructions during live broadcasts and under pressure.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook experience; knowledge of ENPS is a plus.
• Must be an IATSE member or willing to join.
