Team Lead Global Compensation and Benefits (Accounting)

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines. The role may require shifts aligned with global assignments in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia, plus up to 0–5% international travel.

What you will do

• Execute accounting and daily operations for the global Compensation & Benefits Accounting process area.
• Record payroll, pension, expense, bonus, and related employee costs, ensuring accurate actuals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Close financial periods on schedule while meeting SLA, compliance, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
• Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and manage the performance and development of team members and BPO partners.
• Act as a liaison with regional and sector partners, process SMEs, analysts, auditors, and legal authorities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities in line with global standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• 4–6 years of professional experience and 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English required; additional language skills are desirable.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work with global policies, compliance requirements, tight deadlines, ambiguity, and multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certification.
• Shared Service Centre or BPO experience in a multinational corporation.
• Global Account to Report experience in a large multi-state company.
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
