Financial Controller – Global Infrastructure

Location: Manila, One Ayala Tower 2, Philippines

What you will do

• Validate actuals and month-end close for assigned Global Infrastructure cost areas.
• Prepare and review reports covering infrastructure costs, FTEs, accruals, prepayments, capitalization, amortization, and run-rate movements.
• Execute and reconcile charging, cost allocations, recharges, and cross-functional budget transfers.
• Analyze variances, resolve unreconciled balances and data issues, and prepare commentary on performance, risks, and forecast impact.
• Support forecasting and Dynamic Planning by validating baselines, assumptions, cost drivers, organizational changes, and infrastructure demand.
• Maintain internal controls, SOX and audit evidence, financial-data quality, and documented procedures while partnering with Finance, Infrastructure, CTO, procurement, service management, and accounting teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, cost control, management reporting, or planning and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, cost-centre accounting, allocations, forecasting support, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
• Understanding of infrastructure cost drivers, consumption-based charging, fixed and variable costs, investments, capitalization, amortization, contracts, and vendor expenses.
• Experience with internal controls, SOX, audit support, control testing, or financial-risk remediation, plus strong analytical and data-management skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Hyperion, SmartView, Oracle EPM, SAP, Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools is advantageous.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Experience in technology infrastructure, IT finance, banking, shared services, telecommunications, cloud, data centres, networks, or workplace technology.
