Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at Vertis North, Quezon City, Philippines; shifting or rotational schedules required

What you will do

• Lead accurate, timely, and compliant month-end and quarter-end financial close and reporting.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Strengthen compliance and internal control frameworks, audit readiness, and adherence to US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve reporting quality, and apply automation.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Operations, and international stakeholders on expansion, integration, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• CPA certification and a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• At least 8 years of combined accounting and audit experience.
• At least 4 years of supervisory or people-management experience, including coaching and performance development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to work onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City, with shifting or rotational schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting multinational organizations or international legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Exposure to accounting transformation, process improvement, automation, or digital finance initiatives.
• Experience working collaboratively across global and cross-functional teams.
