Account Manager, Commercial Employer - Hybrid - Express Scripts

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; hybrid work aligned with a Cigna/Evernorth multifunction office location

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with commercial employer clients, consultants, and producers.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of client benefit plans and product offerings to provide consultation and resolve issues.
• Manage benefit changes, product upsells, new groups, terminations, and escalated service requests.
• Lead new group and product implementations, coordinating internal meetings, timelines, and quality standards.
• Lead client-focused meetings and present monthly or quarterly operational performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Account Directors and cross-functional operational teams to support satisfaction, profitability, and retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 11–14 years of experience.
• Strong verbal, written communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing projects using established project management processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate proactively, and resolve issues with urgency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PCs, and internet-based tools.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 20%.
