Manager, Learning & Development

Location: Northbrook, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $99,500–$139,900 per year, plus an incentive program and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute an enterprise learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
• Partner with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional leaders to identify capability gaps and create targeted development solutions.
• Design and maintain leadership development programs supporting leadership effectiveness, succession readiness, and organizational capability.
• Create learning roadmaps focused on critical skills, future workforce capabilities, and employee career growth.
• Lead digital learning solutions using instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, Articulate Storyline, Rise, video-based learning, and other platforms.
• Establish metrics and evaluation methods to measure learning effectiveness, leadership capability growth, and business impact.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of related professional experience.
• Strong consultative, relationship-building, interpersonal, influence, instructional design, and program execution skills.
• Ability to establish credibility and build working relationships with all levels of management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to travel as required.
