VP, Learning & Leadership Development

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; full-time onsite position

Salary: $310,000–$355,000 USD base pay

hirify.global develops therapeutics targeting muscle and the central nervous system to deliver functional improvement for people living with genetically driven neuromuscular diseases, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy and myotonic dystrophy type 1.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise leadership development strategy aligned with business objectives, culture, values, and growth.
• Design development experiences for executives, senior leaders, emerging leaders, first-time managers, and individual contributors.
• Build a scalable manager development curriculum covering coaching, feedback, career growth, change leadership, and high-performing teams.
• Integrate company-wide training standards, systems, platforms, and functional learning programs while reducing duplication and improving consistency.
• Lead onboarding, workforce capability, talent development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and change-focused learning initiatives.
• Build and lead the Learning & Leadership Development function, managing external providers, executive coaches, universities, vendors, and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related disciplines.
• Experience building enterprise-wide leadership development strategies in high-growth and commercial-stage organizations.
• Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership teams and influencing at executive and board-facing levels.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, leadership development methodologies, organizational effectiveness, organizational change, and culture transformation.
• Digital-first mindset with interest in emerging technologies, including AI and automation, plus the ability to translate them into practical learning programs.
