Sr. Operations Technology System Administrator

Location: Vancouver, Washington, United States; in-office 5 days per week

Salary: $110,000–$120,500 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Design, implement, and support operational technology infrastructure and associated applications.
• Create and maintain stable network and server environments, including resilient and highly available systems.
• Configure and deploy VMware ESXi clusters and manage Windows servers according to audit requirements.
• Manage SAN/NAS storage across multiple devices and protocols, along with backup, patching, testing, and development environments.
• Implement information security controls with attention to NERC CIP regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with application support teams, technical and non-technical staff, vendors, and contractors; provide light DBA support for SQL environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of Windows system administration and Active Directory experience.
• At least 3 years of VMware ESX administration in clustered and non-clustered environments across SAN/WAN protocols.
• At least 2 years of network design and troubleshooting experience, including DNS, routing, and traffic management.
• At least 1 year of information security and telecommunications experience, plus strong OSI model knowledge.
• Legal right to work in the United States is required; employment is subject to medical, background, reference, and drug-screen checks.

Nice to have

• Disaster recovery and business continuity experience.
• Experience with Visual Basic scripting, VDI, Veeam, RSA SecureID, SQL Server administration, and System Center.
• Experience supporting network appliances, storage infrastructure, SAN protocols, and centrally managed antivirus tools.
