Systems Administrator

Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York; 100% on-site

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage a hybrid Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS environment supporting more than 200 users.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Google Workspace, MDM platforms, and related security policies.
• Configure and monitor AWS infrastructure, including EC2, WorkSpaces, Security Groups, VPCs, storage, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage Meraki networking equipment and the security stack, investigate incidents, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Manage MS SQL databases, automation workflows, IT asset inventory, device lifecycles, and technology purchasing.
• Lead a five-person help desk team, provide third- and fourth-tier support, and manage vendors and service delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Systems Administrator experience.
• Experience managing a help desk team and administering Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Strong AWS knowledge, including EC2, WorkSpaces, Security Groups, VPCs, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Meraki networking, disaster recovery planning and testing, IT operations automation, MS SQL administration, and MDM solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, root-cause identification, and solution documentation.
• Excellent communication, organization, independent work, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• PowerShell or Python scripting experience.
• CrowdStrike EDR experience and knowledge of ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
• AWS, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, or equivalent certifications.
