Production Engineer

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical and engineering support for production processing and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, quality, and systems-related production problems.
• Support the design and installation of equipment and processes for customer needs, efficient manufacturing, and safety and environmental compliance.
• Recommend process improvements and capital expenditures supporting productivity, safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and cost-reduction goals.
• Plan plant outages, prepare lockout/tagout activities, and collaborate with project engineers on capital projects.
• Develop and facilitate operations training and research improved manufacturing processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Production, process, or project-related experience is preferred; a minimum of two years is preferred but not required.
• Ability to collaborate with production coordinators, engineers, and supervisors.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
