Maintenance Technician III (Manufacturing)

Location: Decatur, Texas, United States; onsite role. Day shift is 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional full-week on-call rotations including nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production equipment and facility infrastructure, including blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components such as motor starters, contactors, switches, relays, pressure switches, temperature controllers, and other control equipment.
• Inspect production lines for equipment abnormalities and respond to production issues with maintenance and engineering support.
• Support new equipment installations, equipment retrofits, and facility capital projects that improve manufacturing processes.
• Educate operators on machine operation, update documentation, order parts, and prepare materials lists for projects.
• Maintain a safe work area, follow approved safety procedures, use required PPE, and support production goals independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of industrial maintenance technician experience.
• Experience with large industrial equipment, including high-temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, and powder transfer systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Must be a permanent resident of the United States and able to comply with federally mandated U.S. export control laws.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, safely lift 50 pounds, pass a pre-employment physical, and work outdoors or in dusty and dirty environments.
• Ability to adapt to production priorities, work flexible hours when needed, and identify improvements or create preventive maintenance procedures.

Nice to have

• Basic welding knowledge.
• Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or AS9100 environments.
