Manufacturing Engineer II

What you will do

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, DMAIC, standard work, value stream mapping, and 5S.
• Improve manufacturing processes, work cell layouts, material flow, line balancing, safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation and support capital expenditure projects through startup and sustainability.
• Provide hands-on production-floor support by troubleshooting process, tooling, and equipment issues and collaborating with maintenance teams.
• Process Engineering Change Orders and develop tooling, fixtures, gauges, visual aids, and work instructions.
• Support the Integrated Management System implementation plan and initiatives to reduce waste and improve plant efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
• Experience supporting process improvements or engineering projects.
• Automation, controls, and robotics experience is preferred.
