Manufacturing Engineer (Biotech)

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: $58,300–$95,800 per year

What you will do

• Generate, develop, and execute validation protocols for manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Develop and modify procedures to streamline processes and improve product quality.
• Participate in process development and transfer new products into manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose manufacturing equipment, documenting procedure changes and Engineering Change Orders.
• Research, specify, procure, qualify, and validate process equipment, packaging equipment, suppliers, and materials.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on root cause analysis for CAPAs and complaints, while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, mechanical, and electrical skills.
• Understanding of cGMP and validation preferred.
• Must have United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in cleanrooms, walk-in refrigerators, and areas with increased noise; physical requirements include standing, walking, repetitive hand movements, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
