What you will do

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care using the Professional Practice Model.
• Assess patients, establish care goals, and implement priority-based nursing interventions.
• Integrate patient values, evidence, and best practices into care delivery.
• Engage patients and families in planning and delivering care.
• Collaborate with the care team and adapt communication to patient and team needs.
• Care for orthopedic, neurosurgical, general medical, and general surgical patients in a 30-bed adult med/surg department.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an ASN or BSN.
• Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
• Achieve Basic Life Support competency within 30 days.
• Achieve intravenous therapy, general surgical pre- and post-operative management, orthopedic care, neuro-spine care, and central line management competencies within 90 days.
• Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot orthopedic device equipment within 180 days.
