What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and the patient’s plan of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a designated group of patients.
• Manage patient- and family-centered care from admission through discharge.
• Act as a patient and family advocate while facilitating collaboration among healthcare providers.
• Apply current healthcare practices, technology, pharmacology, treatment modalities, and quality and patient-safety standards.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license or license eligibility required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required depending on the department and care provided.
• Advanced nursing knowledge and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Specialty nursing certifications.
