Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. Full-time schedule from Monday through Friday: four 9-hour days and one 4-hour day, totaling 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners to support further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments, including EKG, audiometry, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Administer medications and emergency care while maintaining medical equipment, a safe environment, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the site contract.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.

Nice to have

• BSN from a four-year college or university.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
