Wastewater Treatment Supervisor

Location: Syracuse, NY; onsite at 6457 Fly Rd., East Syracuse, NY 13057. Travel to other locations may be required for training.

Salary: $75,364–$125,607 annually, with a potential annual or quarterly bonus and possible shift premium.

What you will do

• Supervise daily wastewater treatment operations, site inspections, waste generation, POG and manifesting, and department workflow across all shifts.
• Lead, train, evaluate, and maintain timekeeping for direct reports while ensuring procedures are current and followed.
• Coordinate with engineering, management, contractors, and the EHS manager on troubleshooting, environmental activities, projects, audits, and operations meetings.
• Manage hazardous waste handling, chemical and spare-parts inventories, equipment calibrations, preventive maintenance, and compliance documentation.
• Lead safety meetings, emergency response and evacuation efforts, accident and near-miss reporting, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.
• Support department goals, corrective actions, ISO 9002 requirements, customer requests, quality controls, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Five years of management experience required.
• Wastewater treatment operations experience is highly desirable.
• Must work onsite in East Syracuse, New York.
• Must comply with US export control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC procedures.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
