Salary: $154,024–$203,600 per year; an additional annual compensation range of $122,200–$203,600 may apply depending on experience and geographic location. Eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain digital web applications that address business and technical requirements.
• Build reusable and scalable APIs, data models, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams.
• Write clean, secure, efficient, modular code and improve existing applications to increase unit test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Scrum Masters, Software Engineers, architecture teams, and external teams.
• Support critical healthcare applications covering eligibility, claims, and claim reimbursement, including priority incident resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to delivery through Agile, DevOps, and continuous integration practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer or in a related occupation within the healthcare domain.
• Experience working with healthcare or pharmacy benefit management clients.
• Experience with IBM Integration Bus/App Connect Enterprise, AWS, Python, and Java.
• Experience with IBM MQ, ESQL, DB2, Oracle Database, shell scripting, REST-based services, relational databases, JDBC, Kafka, and mainframe data.
• Experience with automated integration tests, Agile Scrum, DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, and version control systems.
