Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Brooklyn, New York; based in New York City with occasional in-person collaboration

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 per year

hirify.global is partnering with a growing AI engagement platform startup serving healthcare and other industries.

What you will do

• Own the technical components of client implementations, including integrations, configuration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects across different client environments, technologies, and use cases.
• Support integrations with CRM, ERP, EMR/EHR, telephony, and other enterprise systems.
• Configure and build technical solution components based on client requirements and implementation needs.
• Support telephony and voice implementations using Genesys, Zoom, NICE, RingCentral, 8×8, and similar platforms.
• Partner with client stakeholders, Product, Development, Support, and project leads throughout discovery, implementation, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with software integrations, technical implementations, or similar customer-facing technical work.
• Working knowledge of APIs, integration architecture, cloud-based technologies, and system integration testing.
• Strong development and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to investigate issues independently and review human and agentic coding outputs.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies, manage concurrent implementations, and work independently in an evolving startup environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• New York City-based availability is required for occasional in-person collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI or conversational AI solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, EMR/EHR, or other enterprise software integrations.
• Experience with telephony or voice platforms such as Genesys, Zoom, NICE, RingCentral, or 8×8.
• Healthcare technology experience, including EHR/EMR, healthcare integrations, HIPAA, or healthcare data and security.
