Accounting Associate (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Process and maintain accurate accounting records in SAP and other financial systems.
• Prepare account reconciliations and analyze inventory, production orders, fixed assets, and balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
• Support monthly close activities, financial reporting, schedules, and variance investigations.
• Partner with plant operations to resolve production discrepancies and maintain accurate manufacturing and inventory data.
• Support fixed asset accounting, accounts payable, invoice processing through Coupa and SAP, and cost accounting activities.
• Identify process improvements and participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Limited to no professional accounting experience required; internships, co-ops, and academic projects are beneficial.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word; SAP or other ERP exposure is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, resolve routine accounting issues, and communicate accounting information to business partners.
