What you will do
- Support plant financial activities, including GL accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and cost allocations.
- Assist with month-end closing, monthly outlooks, annual plans, and long-range planning.
- Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls and documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Perform cost accounting activities, including BOM reviews, cost roll-ups, inventory analysis, and standard cost setting.
- Monitor receivables, payables, intercompany invoices, payroll accuracy, and purchase-order invoice matching.
- Track fixed assets, capital projects, program launch expenses, and inventory controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of financial analyst experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Extensive Excel experience, including summarizing financial data and presenting it to non-financial audiences.
- Experience with ERP systems and strong organizational, communication, detail, and accuracy skills.
- Ability to take ownership of ambiguous situations and projects while working in a self-driven, team-oriented, and professional manner.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP and HFM.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems.
