Manager, FEP (Epitaxy/RTP) Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Icheon-Gwango, South Korea. Onsite role with approximately 20% travel. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Forecast financial, staffing, inventory, and operational requirements for startup, warranty, service agreement, and paid-service activities.
• Manage system startups, warranty costs, local inventories, RMA procedures, and DSO performance.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, guaranteed uptime, and required system performance parameters.
• Hire, train, and develop customer engineers while setting goals and career development plans.
• Maintain appropriate safety practices and escalate system downtime to restore service quickly.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle time and improving technical performance.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of concepts, theories, and principles in the relevant customer engineering job family.
• Understanding of the semiconductor industry and how customer engineering contributes to business objectives.
• Experience managing a generally homogeneous team and adapting priorities to operational challenges.
• Ability to resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to guide and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance with hirify.global' Standards of Business Conduct and safety requirements.
