Engineer I, Field Services

hirify.global operates a material solutions division supporting customer equipment and service requirements.

What you will do

• Ship, install, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain solid source delivery cabinets and liquid delivery systems for multiple customers.
• Replace hardware parts and perform software upgrades in response to customer requests and improvement plans.
• Replace ampoules, canisters, and cylinders according to SOPs, including leak checks and pressure monitoring.
• Conduct customer evaluations and present results in a professional manner aligned with customer needs.
• Respond quickly to customer issues and coordinate technical problem-solving with account teams, supply chain, business units, and R&D.
• Train customers and colleagues on relevant technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, materials, or chemical engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple activities.
• Ability to assess and diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and proactively improve system functionality.
• Ability to study and follow Material Safety Data Sheets when handling chemicals.

Nice to have

• Experience with vacuum valves, pressure gauges, mass flow controllers, regulators, fittings, or switches.
• Experience with electrical controls, PLC modules, or relays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
