HMI Application Engineer (eBeam)

Location: Hwaseong, South Korea. The role includes travel to other cities in South Korea of up to 10% and overseas business travel as required.

What you will do

• Develop new application use cases for eBeam products and support product adoption.
• Develop applications on eBeam inspection tools at customer sites.
• Analyze and resolve customer gap defects, application issues, and technical requests.
• Support new product JEP activities and wafer demonstrations.
• Execute projects in collaboration with stakeholders and participate in customer technical meetings.
• Define customer technical requirements through analysis of products and roadmap alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Applicants with less than 3 years of experience must hold a master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• More than 3 years of experience in field service, semiconductor equipment, mechatronics, or automatic control is required for experienced applicants.
• Knowledge of eBeam inspection or semiconductor processes.
• Strong problem analysis, communication, coordination, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Must be legally authorized to access technology controlled under United States Export Administration Regulations before beginning work.

Nice to have

• Experience in inspection or metrology.
• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
