Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Support Specialist (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Administer Linux, Windows Server, and NVIDIA GPU/AI compute environments, including OS deployment, patching, kernel and cluster updates, hypervisor management, and performance tuning.
• Operate local data center infrastructure, including rack setup, power and cooling distribution, cabling, physical safety, and preventative servicing.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, server health monitoring, storage capacity planning, and infrastructure lifecycles.
• Administer networks, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi, subnets, IAM, Active Directory/LDAP, and least-privilege access controls.
• Maintain endpoint security and MDM environments, especially Jamf, across macOS, Windows, and Linux devices.
• Provide infrastructure and user support, manage Google Workspace and SaaS applications, coordinate vendors and procurement, and prepare IT for onboarding, presentations, and internal events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure management, data center operations, and user support.
• Hands-on administration experience with Linux, Windows Server, and NVIDIA server environments.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, access control, backups, hardware procurement, and vendor management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills for both technical power users and non-technical staff.
• Available to start immediately.

Nice to have

• Systems or network administration certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or NVIDIA hardware systems certifications.
• Shell scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience in high-performance computing or deep-tech research environments.
• Documentation experience covering IT procedures, SOPs, and disaster recovery plans.
