What you will do
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure to support performance and reliability.
- Assist with the implementation and configuration of servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions with the infrastructure team.
- Support infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Document infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Provide hands-on technical support to trading desks and help define technology requirements.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux/Unix, and virtualization technologies.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams and handle pressure and time constraints.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar configuration management tools.
- Exposure to cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Previous infrastructure-related internship or hands-on experience.
