Platform Support Engineer

Location: Hong Kong or Singapore

hirify.global is a multi-manager investment platform supporting portfolio managers across quantitative, fundamental equity, tactical trading, and discretionary macro and fixed-income strategies.

What you will do

• Provide first-line support for production issues, requests, and alerts across the proprietary quantitative-trading platform.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and outages in real time, escalating when required.
• Monitor platform connectivity and hardware in partnership with Infrastructure and Networking teams.
• Support Portfolio Managers with project work and ad-hoc requests.
• Manage regional change control and lead incident-management processes.
• Automate recurring workflows and build internal tools to improve efficiency and resilience.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience supporting trading and post-trade systems in financial services.
• Experience managing large-scale deployments and environments.
• Experience supporting applications in Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl.
• Experience with automation, FIX protocol support, monitoring, and performance management.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with strong communication and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• FIX certification or onboarding experience.
• Experience with NFS, GPFS, storage devices, ITRS Geneos, or Control-M.
• Knowledge of q and kdb+, AWS, or Docker.
