What you will do
- Serve as first point of contact for production issues, support requests, and alerts.
- Investigate and resolve incidents or outages in real time, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Networking teams to monitor connectivity and hardware.
- Work with Portfolio Managers on projects and ad-hoc requests.
- Manage regional Change Control and lead Incident Management.
- Partner with development teams for smooth code deployments to production.
- Automate processes and build internal tooling for efficiency and resilience.
Requirements
- At least five years in financial services supporting trading and post-trade systems.
- Experience managing large-scale deployments and environments.
- Supporting applications in Linux environment.
- Strong scripting: Python, Bash, Shell, Perl.
- Experience developing tools and automating processes.
- Supporting FIX protocol.
- Understanding of monitoring and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills and strong ownership.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have
- FIX certification/onboarding experience.
- NFS and GPFS file systems.
- Knowledge of storage devices.
- ITRS Geneos for application monitoring.
- Control-M job scheduling.
- q and kdb+ knowledge.
- AWS experience.
- Docker experience.
