Staff Network Engineer (AI Fabric, Datacenter and Edge Networking) - Radian Arc (EMEA)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, operate, and evolve high-performance GPU networking fabrics for distributed AI training and inference workloads.
• Build scalable RoCE and Ethernet architectures using leaf-spine, fat-tree, rail, and multi-plane topologies.
• Design Layer 2 and Layer 3 datacenter networks, BGP/ECMP routing, tenant isolation, overlays, segmentation, and north-south connectivity.
• Operate security and edge infrastructure, including WAF, TLS termination, DDoS mitigation, and API or proxy gateway protection.
• Design inter-datacenter connectivity using dark fiber, DWDM, redundant fiber rings, high-capacity WAN, and global backbone integration.
• Lead network automation, capacity planning, incident response, root-cause analysis, reliability improvements, and cross-functional architecture initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale datacenter and high-speed Ethernet networks.
• Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ECMP, EVPN/VXLAN, VLAN/VRF, OVS/OVN, and Linux networking.
• Deep experience with GPU cluster networking, NCCL communication patterns, RDMA, RoCE, PFC, ECN, congestion control, and rail-optimized fabrics.
• Experience with NVIDIA/Mellanox platforms, networking hardware, optics, high-speed interconnects, and network observability.
• Strong Python and/or Bash automation skills, including reusable infrastructure tooling and software engineering practices.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, set architectural direction, mentor engineers, and troubleshoot issues across hardware, firmware, kernels, and distributed applications.
