Maintenance Technician/Operations (Energy Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair terminal equipment, including valves, gauges, meters, tanks, pumps, boilers, heat exchangers, and compressors.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on dry bulk conveyors, dust collection systems, environmental control equipment, and heavy equipment.
• Inspect tanks and equipment, complete maintenance records, work orders, inventory updates, and daily activity logs.
• Perform terminal operations such as opening and closing valves and tanks and loading or unloading tanker trucks, railcars, barges, tugs, and vessels.
• Coordinate with Operations to minimize operational impacts and follow company safety rules and training requirements.
• Monitor third-party work on company property and recognize the limits of authorized work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as required by USCG/DHS regulations.
• Basic computer skills for email, inventory accounting, maintenance tracking, and repair work orders.
• Ability to perform physical work, including climbing, crouching, operating tools and controls, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.

Nice to have

• Two-year or technical school degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Corrosion studies.
• Familiarity with automation systems and PLCs.
