VP Supply Chain Optimization-Commercial (Supply Chain)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States; business travel within and outside the state is required.

Salary: $177,000–$266,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute supply chain optimization strategies aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
• Lead initiatives across logistics, inventory management, distribution, process improvement, and customer supply chain integration.
• Own the division’s full profit and loss statement, budgets, resource allocation, and investment recommendations.
• Build strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, logistics partners, and commercial sales leaders.
• Drive supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and performance measurement through KPIs.
• Lead the division’s management team, direct human resources activities, and coordinate cross-functional operations across manufacturing, transportation, finance, IT, and sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in supply chain optimization, Lean or Six Sigma process improvement, and technology integration.
• Experience leading complex, global, fast-paced operations; managing budgets, business plans, employees, and P&L responsibilities.
• Strong strategic planning, forecasting, fiscal management, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to travel for business within the state and out of state.
