Traditional Labor Associate

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; hybrid

What you will do

• Handle unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board.
• Represent management in NLRB elections and advise employers on union organizing, corporate campaigns, card check, and neutrality agreements.
• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements, grievances, and arbitration proceedings.
• Advise management on protected concerted activity, NLRA matters, union work stoppages, and mass picketing injunctions.
• Conduct management training on labor relations and provide research and written legal analysis.
• Support clients on California workplace law matters and other assignments as needed.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Nebraska Bar admission required.
• 5+ years of traditional labor law experience involving labor relations.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency enforcement techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, project management, and written and oral communication skills.
• Availability for regular business travel.
