Support - Site Technician (HVAC)

Location: Taylor, Texas, United States; onsite role with availability for weekends, evenings, non-standard hours, and 24/7 infrastructure emergencies

Salary: $36–$50 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, and physically inspect critical infrastructure HVAC equipment in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, compressors, control systems, and related mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to standby, emergency, safety, and infrastructure incidents.
• Use BAS applications for HVAC analysis, reporting, and optimized system control.
• Support availability and capacity targets for data centers and technical infrastructure across hirify.global facilities.
• For senior and lead levels, conduct root cause analyses, prepare postmortems and documentation, plan installations, and coordinate contractor work.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver's License required.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education and experience.
• Level 2: at least 2 years of job-related experience beyond a degree.
• Level 3: at least 5 years of job-related experience, including progressively responsible installation, maintenance, service, and repair work.
• Lead level: at least 8 years of progressively responsible installation, maintenance, service, and repair experience.
• Availability for weekends, evenings, non-standard hours, and 24/7 emergency response is required.

Nice to have

• EPA Certification.
• Liebert Service and Repair Certification.
• TACL Class A license.
• State of Texas ACR Class A Contractor license.
