HVAC Technician

Location: Carrollton, Texas, United States. Field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations, with overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required.

Hourly base pay: $19.53–$47.85.

What you will do

• Commission, start up, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, customers, and on-site partners to plan installations and repairs.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction throughout assigned projects.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and record the use, condition, and wear of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA certification.

• Technical school education or formal technical training.
