Data Center Technician Team Lead (HVAC)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Field-based role requiring on-site work at customer locations and overnight travel to other areas, potentially extensively.

Hourly base pay: $28.13–$68.92.

What you will do

• Train, develop, advise, and guide HVAC field technicians.
• Assist with technician scheduling, organization, dispatching, and staffing recommendations.
• Coordinate with project managers on facility installations, repairs, retrofits, building layouts, materials, and on-site execution.
• Supervise commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and startup of advanced HVAC systems supporting data-center uptime.
• Evaluate area safety requirements and support the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training.
• Maintain service records and coordinate vehicle repair and maintenance.

Requirements

• At least five years of HVAC experience with systems-level expertise.
• Working knowledge of HVAC products, systems, electronics, and pneumatic controls.
• EPA-approved Universal Technician Certification.
• Associate degree or technical-school certificate in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.

Nice to have

• Data center experience, including familiarity with industry-standard L2–L5 project phases.
