Water & Wastewater Pipeline Conveyance - Engineering Designer (Water/Wastewater)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona; hybrid work between the Phoenix office and field environments.

What you will do

• Support the planning and design of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater pipeline systems.
• Assist with hydraulic analyses, system evaluations, and conveyance modeling.
• Prepare design calculations, technical memoranda, planning studies, and engineering reports.
• Develop plans, profiles, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders.
• Deliver technical work supporting client infrastructure needs, including office and field assignments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Design experience on water or wastewater projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office and field environment in Phoenix, including exposure to construction hazards, weather, heat, humidity, noise, and bodies of water.

Nice to have

• Experience with water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Exposure to pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, or other conveyance infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with attention to quality and client service.
